 MR.
SHORTS, (Tim Shorts) grew an interest in the rap game around 10
years old, this was when the knowledge of life really kicked into
life, the streets. It was a way for him to relate to the street
while finding it was a way for him to relate and express, growing
up in the 70’ and 80’ era on the streets of (Texas).
It was in junior high school he began writing rhymes, mixing it
up with his own beats and arrangements, the trial-and-error period
in life.
Shorts has always admired the sounds of artists such as Rhakim
Big Daddy Kane, Cube, Scarface and Ghetto Boys. He was able to
get deep into the lyrics and beats related to the artist, which
gave him inspiration and motivation to continue his journey in
the industry.
He has collaborated with other artists such as Lil’ Keke,
Big Pokey, Devin The Dude, Charly Boy and others.
Mr.
Shorts also is very active in his city of Austin, Texas with giving
back to the community with food shelters helping to feed those
in need, and he is a strong advocate for helping the homeless
with opening shelters to help others move forward in life on a
positive note.
The
new release Summertime Vibes, Mr. Shorts ft. Devin The Dude dropped
in June 2023 and can be found on all media platforms.
