JABEAUX The Prince of Zydeco & The Zydeco Enforcers
The artist known as Jabeaux started in the music industry when he was only 4 years old, playing the rubboard and he soon enhanced his God given talents by learning to master the accordion, bass guitar and drums, from Logansport, Louisiana his music has traveled globally entertaining overseas.
Jabeaux talents is in the bloodline as he learned the rubboard
from his legendary father Jabo The Texas Prince of Zydeco and
he then went on to play the drums at the age of 12, where he
played alongside his dad Jabo, Wilford Chevis and Paul Richard
Paul, who actually taught him the aspect of an accordion. Now
with all the knowledge and skill he is considered number one
in the industry for his good old zydeco and blues sound. Now
believe he has been through the ups and down’s being an independent
artist, but that never deter him from thriving to be the best
in what he believes and loves Music.
He
has recorded hits “Why You Watching Me,”“After Loving
You” and “Mona Lisa” remix of Wilfred Chevis. Jabeaux
have received the 2021 and 2022 Certificates of Congress-Woman
Sheila Jackson-Lee and Congressman Al Green: The Zydeco Artist
of the year 2021 from Meidan Southern Soul Award and Artist
of the year 2023 at the Black Music Awards, Houston, Texas.
God has been a major part of growth and the support from his
wife Annetta and mother Anna, his wife instills faith, love,
and determination to keep reaching for the stars. She is also
a part of the group after learning how to play the rubboard
in 2021, by Jabeaux which is one of his specialty, as he has
taught others in the industry how to play. This is why he is
called the Southern Prince of Zydeco.
