Teslanay is a native of Louisiana. Based in Baton Rouge, she has brought her unique musical style—ranging from R&B to Soul Blues/Southern Soul through Jazz and even Pop music—to audiences across the South, from Louisiana to Texas, Atlanta, Arkansas, Mississippi, and many cities/states in between.

Teslanay is an accomplished singer, songwriter and producer. Singing since the age of 5, she knew she was destined for stardom. She comes from a musically inclined family, in which every member played an instrument, and she discovered her own love of music early. Her instrument was her voice. Always surrounded by music, Teslanay developed an appreciation for many different genres—all of which are now deeply embedded in her sultry, sexy singing style. She has been recording professionally for many years and has written and produced multiple songs for various local artists as well as for herself.

Her voice mesmerizes audiences, as demonstrated when she’s opened for nationally known artists such as Tank, CeCe Penniston, After 7, etc. With this undeniable talent and her years of songwriting, performing and recording experience to back it up, she has released multiple recordings by Platinum Vybe Recordings, JDG Platinum Recordings such as Bad Habits, High, Southern Soul Weekend, Slide up on Me, Red Beans & Rice, Switch Positions, In Charge, Feeling Alright, Won’t Be Your Fool Again and the list goes on.
