 Nicolette
Ferguson is a young self-motivated entrepreneur, a wife
and mother of three, who was born and raised in Houston Texas.
Although she had many struggles and battles to overcome, Ms. Ferguson
graduated from Texas Southern University with a bachelor’s
degree in Telecommunications and a Minor in Theater in 1998. As
a young child, Ms. Ferguson has always had a passion for cameras.
She created and produced her first commercial in High School.
She even dreams of one day owning her own television network.

Ferguson is a very hard-working ambitious woman and is a positive
role model in the community. She is definitely a seeker of higher
goals. She successfully accomplished one of her many goals by
having her own video recording production company “Mocha
Brown Productions”, which was established in 2003. She has
also established other companies such as VIP Media, DMD Beverages
est. 2014, VIP Media DJ's, 360 Photobooth est. 2021. All of her
hard work and countless efforts has paid off and made it possible
for her to be the creator, producer, and director of her own Television
show, “Getting To Know You”. Ms. Ferguson is also
the founder of The Annual Community Fun Day which was established
in 2005 to bring her community together and to give artists a
platform to showcase their talents. Not only does Nicolette work
on her own projects and events she has partner up with different
organizations such as being the DJ, videographer, photographer,
event coordinator and now project manager for The Houston Black
Heritage Fest. Nicolette has been recognized and awarded for all
of her hard work in the community. She was awarded The Presidential
Lifetime Achievement Award in December 2023 for her lifelong commitment
to building a stronger nation through volunteer services. She
is a award winning entrepreneur.
