Born
in New York, Trina Murray's passion for modeling began in childhood,
nurtured by her aunt
through pageants. Though her early experiences were sporadic—sometimes
years apart—modeling
always fascinated her. For Trina, it was more than just striking
poses;
it was a way to express herself freely and without judgment.
As a teenager, Trina stepped away from modeling to focus on personal
growth. At 24, an unexpected
opportunity reignited her passion—her employer chose her
to model for a marketing campaign
featuring vibrant African attire and accessories. While this experience
rekindled her love for the craft,
she once again set modeling aside to prioritize her professional
career.
 
Yana’s
distinctive style and versatility have earned her opportunities
to walk for Indie Fashion
during NYFW, as well as grace the runways of numerous designers
in the Capital Region, including
Aniyah Kouture, Dante Stylings, and Sylvia Robinson. Beyond the
runway, she frequently participates in
photoshoots in both Upstate NY and NYC.
She understands the importance of maintaining an up-to-date portfolio,
seeing it as a model's manual,
always showcasing the freshest looks. Her adaptability shines
through her ability to embody styles
ranging from a dark, grunge aesthetic to high-fashion avant-garde
designs.
 
Her
journey took a turning point when she connected with a photographer
specializing
in themed photoshoots. Over three years, they collaborated on
creative projects exploring
everything from seasonal transformations and festive celebrations
to abstract emotions
and bold artistic concepts. Through these sessions, Trina honed
her ability to bring diverse narratives to life.
 
One
day at work, a local fashion designer noticed her striking look
and invited her
to model for their brand. The shoot was a success, earning public
acclaim and
opening doors to new opportunities. Soon, Trina found herself
in high demand, landing
additional photoshoots and commanding attention on the runway
with her dynamic presence.
Today, Trina Murray is a sought-after model, seamlessly blending
storytelling with
visually compelling photoshoots and captivating runway performances.
She continues
to bring designers’ and artists’ visions to life, embracing
every opportunity
to express herself through the transformative art of modeling.
